Soldano to Trump: Stay Out of Michigan

MICHIGAN — Last week, candidate for the Republican nomination for governor Garrett Soldano told former President Donald Trump to stay out of Michigan’s upcoming nominating contest. Soldano made his plea to Trump with a threat, “The grassroots will be extremely, extremely unhappy,” if Trump were to endorse an establishment candidate.

Soldano was seemingly referring to Tudor Dixon, who is backed by Betsy DeVos and other members of the DeVos clan. Last week, Dixon stated she believes that pregnancy occurring from rape is a good thing and the victim of the rape should be forced to carry the child to term.

In his livestream, Soldano called the DeVos family and empire and stated that they have turned on former President Donald Trump. Soldano then added, “We want President Trump to stay out of this race to allow these great candidates to duke it out, and then allow ‘we the people’ to determine who we want to have represent us in our own party.”

Tudor Dixon responded that Soldano was “desperate” and her PAC director praised the DeVos clan. For his part, Donald Trump did nothing about the livestream directed at him. Trump’s inaction was similar to his inaction on January 6, 2021 where for 187 minutes, he refused to call off the insurrection that sought to overthrow the 2020 election and therefore American democracy.
