MICHIGAN — Recent polling shows that the race for Michigan Governor is a three-way race. Polling from WDIV/Detroit News done by Glengariff Group shows a statistically tied race with Congressman John James at 34 percent, Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson at 32 percent and former Detroit Mayor and Independent candidate Mike Duggan at 26 percent.
The poll showed danger signs for President Trump as voters believe the State of Michigan under the leadership of Gretchen Whitmer is on the right track (51right track -36 wrong track) but those same voters believe the country is on the wrong track (55 right track -34 wrong track.)
The poll also showed Governor Whitmer with a nearly 60 percent approval rating. The same poll showed 48 percent of voters believe the economy is worse under President Trump than under President Biden with 38 percent believing it to be better. Finally, Democrats head into the midterm with a 6-12 point lead in the generic ballot.
Benson Adopts Dog at Auto Show

On January 18 and January 25 from 3–7 PM, stop by to meet friendly, adoptable dogs who are looking for loving homes. This is the perfect chance to learn more about adoption, connect with local animal advocates, and maybe even fall in love and take home a fur family member — all while enjoying the excitement of the auto show.
All adoptable dogs are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped. They go home with a new collar, leash, and harness as well as a goody bag of toys, treats, and food to get you started.
