MICHIGAN — The Michigan Republican Party continues to be embroiled in scandal and connection to violent insurrection. On June 9, the FBI arrested Ryan Kelley, a candidate for governor, at his home for his participation in the violent insurrection that took place at the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021 that left many dead and is now the subject of Congressional hearings.
Kelley has shown no remorse for taking part in what some historians are calling “traitorous activity” and what retired conservative judge J. Michael Luttig has called, “A Clear and Present Danger to the United States.”
The criminal complaint alleges that Kelley knowingly entered and engaged in disorderly conduct in restricted buildings or grounds and engaged in an act of physical violence against a person or property.
2,000 Mules Letter
17 Republican members of the Michigan House of Representatives sent a letter to Attorney General Dana Nessel asking her to investigate the findings of a movie they watched that falsely claimed Donald Trump won an election he clearly lost. As of press time there is no word whether or not additional letters are in the works asking Dana Nessel to investigate Who Framed Roger Rabbit, whether or not Lt. Dan really lost his legs in Vietnam or if the Smurfs actually exist.
J. Michael Luttig also added current lawmakers and those running for office claiming Donald Trump won an election he clearly lost as “A Clear and Present Danger to the United States.”
